Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

As we build on our seven years of serving those left behind after violent death, we seek board members who can help us with sustainability planning, social services credentials, agency growth and development, fundraising, and financial oversight.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The "living victims" left behind after violent death. We are the only agency in NM serving these survivors. We’ve served 400+ loved ones and there are many more who need services of availability, education, advocacy, group support, referrals, accompaniment to court, etc. Families, neighborhoods, communities, cities, schools and government services are all impacted by a violent death.

A meeting place for Board Meetings. Staff who will meet needs and requests. Much appreciation for what our Board has provided to us and new board members will provide. Satisfaction of serving a need and protecting a valuable mission.
