Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We are searching for energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable members to add to our Board of Directors. Someone with passion for New Mexico's wildlife and natural resources, who is not afraid to call their friends, co-workers, and associates to promote the organization. We are seeking fresh ideas and effective fundraising efforts. Commitment requires monthly or every-other-month meetings, some attendance at special events, and a desire to make a difference.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

We care for more than 750 injured/orphaned wild animals each year, returning as many as possible to the wild. We educate children and adults about New Mexico's incredible diversity of wildlife and habitats, and encourage understanding with the goal of preserving our natural world. Visitors also come to NMWC to see and learn about representatives of New Mexico's wildlife.
