Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Would you like to help disabled children, adults, or veterans learn to ride a horse? If so, you have just found your golden opportunity! Loving Thunder is the first and only Premier Accredited Path Intl center in New Mexico. We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help with Horse Leading and side walking for our Therapeutic Horseback riding program. We are located in Rio Rancho and have opportunities to help on Wed, Thur, Fri, & Sat . We offer riding lessons to special needs individuals who require more support than is currently available in a regular stables. Our riders have a variety of disabilities, such as autism, downs syndrome, developmental delay, stroke, ALS, PTSD, etc. We also have barn assistant, fundraising, volunteer management and Board of Director opportunities available.
