Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

This training/volunteer position is perfect for those with busy schedules who still want to be an advocate for a child or youth in Northern New Mexico. Abrigo Advocates are volunteers who are matched with a child, youth or family who is experiencing life challenges. Abrigos, through a consistent and supportive relationship, will help children and youth find the resources and services they need, assist with practical life functions, create community connections and more. If you are 21 or older and want to support a youths’ wellbeing and success, please reach out and learn how to be trained as an CASA First Abrigo Advocate!
