Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Hello and we want to encourage you to the apply for the Community Mentor Network Program!

You have the opportunity to take the step to becoming a leader and role model to high school students. You will help shape the growing minds of the next generation.

This upcoming school year will be an exciting and rewarding process for both you and the students. The amount of volunteer hours are optional to you and your schedule. We only require that you volunteer at least one hour minimum each week.

You will be joining a handful of mentors who can guide you and prepare you to becoming a great adviser, friend, tutor, teacher, guide and coach.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

High school students will and have been impacted tremendously through this program.

High school student age range from 15-18 years old. Many of these students are struggling academically, or are struggling with home or other issues.

Additional Requirements: 

Must be over 20 years of age or older
Must go through a fingerprint and background check
Must have a vehicle to go to the school that is assigned
Must commit for a year
Must be loving, understanding, and positive personality
Must have good interpersonal skills
Must wear professional/casual attire
