Meetings once per quarter and committee work
Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
• Provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance
• Develop and implement strategic plan with Executive Director
• Review outcomes and metrics
• Approve the annual budget, audit reports, and material business decisions; be informed
of, and meeting all, legal and fiduciary responsibilities
• Annual performance evaluation of the ED
• Identify and recruit other Board Members
• Ensure that board resolutions are carried out
• Represent NMCAN to stakeholders
• Ensure NMCAN’s commitment to a diverse board and staff
• Make an annual gift or participate in fundraising activities
