Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Manzano High School is beginning a repetitious math 101 tutoring program for students who are struggling to pass math classes.
This year, many Freshman students are entering high school without the skills necessary to begin high school level math. The tutoring program would provide very basic, beginners level math tutoring.
There is space available here at the high school for tutoring sessions that will take place throughout the day. Materials will be available and all volunteers will be prepared/mentored before hand.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
Primarily high school Freshman who are failing math 101 and then additionally for students in other grades who are in danger of failing all together.
