Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

This is a great way to help the cause of adult literacy without the time commitment of being a tutor. What job interests you?
*Office Assistance: answering phones, assisting with data entry, greeting tutors/clients (Fridays)
*Client Assessment: Reading Works will train you to administer assessment tests and you will assist with client intake/assessment and re-assessment (usually Wednesdays)
*Librarian: Reading Works will train you in ResourceMate library software and you will manage our in-house library which consists of over 1,000 volumes. (2 mornings or afternoons a month -- you choose when)
*Database Creation: If you have experience with Microsoft Access you will work with another volunteer who is creating a new database in Microsoft Access (you choose when)
