Mission Statement:
The return of modern Rail in all its forms as the key component of passenger land transportation in America, in particular in New Mexico .
Primary Programs:
Having assisted in bringing about the Rail Runner, we are working on initiatives and programs in public education and advocacy toward these goals:
1) Establishment of Rail transit in the Albuquerque area, coupled with increased and widespread neighborhood transit services;
2) Restoration of passenger Rail service between El Paso and points in Montana, via Albuquerque, Denver and points in Wyoming---a "Rail I-25".
Our principal method of operation is to try to increase public awareness of and desire for modern Rail, thereby exerting pressure on political leaders to make this happen.
