Mission Statement:

The New Mexico Faith Coalition for Immigrant Justice is a non-profit organization that is community focused and community led for the purpose of collaborating with immigrant families that are facing undue hardship and going through unjust immigration laws and systems.

We believe that all work relating to any community group should be led and organized by those that are directly impacted by the undue hardship of an unjust immigration system. We strive to have those that are impacted at every position of leadership and guidance of what our should look like. We believe leadership is best when it reflects our diverse communities. We believe that it is not just about showing up, but how we show up. When working together, we believe in impacted versus intention. By centering community values, we are able to resist and change the structures & systems that continue to marginalize.

Primary Programs:

The Coalition has two major ways in which we show up for the impacted immigrant community. The first is through the a program that engages a network of individuals composed of impacted community members, allies, lawyers, and community partners who stand in resistance of indiscriminate separation of families that live in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
