The Albuquerque Community Foundation and United Way of North Central New Mexico (UWNCNM) have established the Emergency Action Fund for Food Insecurity (EAF) to help fill the gap for New Mexico families impacted by the current pause in SNAP benefits.
ACF is now accepting EAF for Food Insecurity grant applications!
Applications and awards will be on a rolling basis as funds are raised.
WHO CAN APPLY
- Nonprofit organizations granted tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
- Educational Institutions
- Governmental entities (including local, state, and tribal government agencies)
Organizations providing critical support to address food insecurity who meet the criteria above are encouraged to apply via the Foundation's grant portal.
If you have questions about the application or require technical assistance with the grant portal, please contact Albuquerque Community Foundation at [email protected].
Thank you EAF Community Partners!
We are deeply grateful to our statewide funders and community partners whose generosity makes this funding possible. Together, we can ensure every New Mexican has access to the food they need to thrive.
The Emergency Action Fund is a collaborative effort between funders to mobilize resources and provide efficient support during major emergencies. EAF is co-managed by ACF and UWNCNM.
