I am the Community Engagement Coordinator with YDI Elev8 at Wilson Middle School. Since we support and run the School-Based Health Center (SBHC), it was proposed/requested by the school nurse that we have hygiene products and bags to hand out to students as needed. The hygiene bags would consist of full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes, razors, shaving cream, perfume, cologne, etc. This support would allow our SBHC to strengthen the services provided and to strengthen the community school as a whole. This would closely impact the student and family needs (per survey results) in order to provide our community the best we can.

Who Will Be Impacted by This Donation: 
The community school's students, families, staff and community members will appreciate the supplies and supports in order to live their daily lives. These items would allow youth and their families the ability to show up ready to learn, ready to participate in school events and ready to actively engage in and improve the quality of life for the community.
