Project Description: 

Shoe Collection Drive of gently used shoes, any size, any style, that will help support the maintenance of our Aquaponic Learning Laboratory at Washington Middle School.
Volunteers will collect and package donated shoes for transport.

More Details: 

The collection also aids a micro-business growth project that uses the shoes to teach those in poverty stricken
countries, like Haiti, the skills of shoe repair and cobbling. They refurbish shoes and give them a second life. In return our organization earns a "finders fee" which will go a long way in helping us meet our mission to make a difference in improving local access to organic foods, fight disease, and changing the world for the better. AND it keeps shoes out of landfills.
