Project Description: 

Volunteers and funds are needed to build and install 4 benches in the Museum's Heritage Park. These benches include a shade covering, giving visitors a much-needed place to rest while enjoying the rich history present at the Museum.

This project includes building the benches from a pre-approved design, sanding/painting the benches, digging holes for the foundation, and installing the bench.

Nonprofit/Agency will provide: 
The Museum has some tools that can be used during the course of this project. Volunteers are welcome to bring hand-sanders and hammers, and other tools.

Additional Requirements: 
Volunteers will need to bring their own work gloves, hats, sunscreen, and water bottles. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required.

Between $2,000 and $2,500. Materials include: wood, paint, sandpaper, bolts, anchors, and cement.
