Crossroads for Women

When you think about your favorite memories from the holiday season, what comes to mind? Maybe it’s spending time with family and friends, decorating the house, or exchanging thoughtful gifts with those you cherish. But one of the best parts of the holiday season is sharing meals together -- whether it’s turkey and stuffing, delicious posole with red chile, or a slice of freshly baked pumpkin pie.
Every year at Crossroads for Women, we call on the generosity and support of our community to provide food boxes to the women and children involved in our programs. For many women and children who use our services, this is the first holiday season they are able to spend together in their new home. Without this assistance, many of the families would struggle to afford even a modest holiday meal. Each food box contains the ingredients needed to make a nutritious and tasty meal. We aim to give a holiday food boxes to 55 families.
