Project Description: 

Casa Esperanza, New Mexico's House of Hope, serves rural NM families traveling to Albuquerque for medical treatments for cancer and other major illnesses. Here at Casa Esperanza families find a safe and comfortable place to live temporarily as they face the challenges that fighting illnesses can bring. In addition to lodging, Casa Esperanza provides meals, transportation assistance and counseling. This year for Make a Difference Day we are asking your group to consider hosting a food collection drive at your office, church or in your neighborhood to support our pantry. There are a variety of ways to accomplish this:
- Social Media Announcements: Ask for collections throughout the week or month and deliver to Casa Esperanza
- One Day Drive: Collect donations on October 23 or 24 at the location of your choice (with permission)
- On-site at Casa Esperanza: Set up a table at our facility and encourage the community to come out with their donations and see our facility!

On-site collection only: We will provide a table, table cover, carts to move donations from outside to the pantry
