Project Description:

Join us for a unique project: Origami crane folding. What is our connection to an Origami crane? The crane is the universal symbol of peace and hope and is our organization's logo! When someone calls the helpline we send them a card with a handmade, folded crane and a personalized hand written note. Other cards are sent for such things as birthdays, end of treatment, losses, etc. Folding cranes is relaxing, creative and fun. Join us for a wonderful experience!

More Details:

Help to sustain Cancer Support Now, an important resource in the statewide cancer community. We are a grassroots organization with many years of experience in peer support for cancer. Our services include a helpline that is operated 9 am to 9 pm, seven days a week. We believe that people diagnosed with cancer and/or caring for someone with cancer best understand how to support each other because they've "been there." We offer a wide array of services, including support groups and/or one-on-one matching with someone who has had a similar diagnosis and/or treatment.
