Albuquerque Speech Language Hearing Center was established in 1953 and is the only 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit speech and hearing center in New Mexico. Our sole mission is to provide high quality communication and hearing service to all individuals, children and adults, who are deaf or hard of hearing or who have difficulty with speech or language.
Position Description: 
Overview of duties of board members Adherence to the highest levels of ethics set form by professional organizations such as American Speech Hearing Association, the State of New Mexico and related entities. Perform actions in accordance with the ASLHC Articles of Incorporation, Mission, Bi‐Laws and Policies and Procedures. Provide leadership to the organization. Oversee ASLHC strategic mission and fiscal health. Duties and expectations: •
Expectations: 
Contribute your time and resources to further the goals of the organization. Participation on committees as assigned. Read any necessary information prior to monthly meetings; communicate among committee members as necessary for analysis and resolution of key issues. Help with strategic plan and monitor organization’s progress towards achieving organizational goals.
