Main Areas of Responsibility: 

- Supervision and support to youth program artistic staff
- Audition coordination and placement into appropriate ensembles
- Concert management
- Community engagement
- Implement and manage disciplinary procedures when necessary
- Recruitment and retention of students
- Music and pedagogy oversight
- Ensure compliance with music licensing regulations
- Budget management
- Performs related duties as required

Other Information/Requirements: 

Proficiency in string instruments
Bachelor’s degree in music education, arts administration, or related field
Experience in music education, youth programming and/or arts management
Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
Knowledge of music pedagogy, repertoire, and educational methodologies
Familiarity with budgeting and financial management
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
