Youth Program Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

To implement the daily outreach and implementation activities for TechGyrls and G.U.R.L.S programs of the Youth Department. Utilizes evidence-based strategies and knowledge specific to target population to ensure the effective achievement of goals and deliverables of programs.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Develops written educational materials specific to target population of young girls ages 11-19 to enhance their educational attainment and core self identity. Implements after-school and in-school programs through the recruitment of mentors, volunteers and teacher liasions.

Other Information/Requirements: 

QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS required. Documented successful experience may substitute for degree at 2 years=1 year education (assuming BA/BS is 4 year degree). Minimum of 1 year successful experience in implementing programs, community outreach, program reporting, and training. Minimum 3 years of experience working in youth populations. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, administrative and computer skills.
