Youth Engagement Coordiantor

Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for facilitating and coordinating a robust youth engagement strategy across all BFF opportunities to:
• conduct outreach to recruit young people
• conduct youth trainings on various topics
• provide ongoing support and guidance
• support matched mentor/mentee relationships
• connect young people with new opportunities
• support young people as they advocate for systems

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Provide ongoing input, information, and materials, that support internal and external communication efforts about BFF programming and opportunities.
• Participate in the continuous quality improvement process to assess the efficacy of the BFF Initiative and to drive programmatic refinements. Ensure adherence to data collection requirements.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least 2 years’ experience working with young people. Must have a working knowledge of program development, community organizing and volunteer management. A strong desire for supporting and empowering youth transitioning out of foster care, juvenile justice, and/or homelessness is required.
