Youth Care Worker for Shelter

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Residential shelter program looking for experienced individuals to serve young people, as Full-Time Resident Assistant. The primary duty of the Resident Assistant position is participation in the daily activities of the program providing direct care, supervision, case planning, outings, life skills and other youth development activities for youth. 40 hours/week.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Must undergo fingerprinting, background check and monthly driving record check. Must be at least 25 years old with a good driving record to be able to transport clients. Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance. Current CPR and First Aid certificates required (will train). Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor's Degree in a human service field and one year relevant experience with the target population preferred. Associates Degree and two years’ experience with target population; High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with the target population.
