Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Workforce & Personnel Director is responsible for the development, management, and oversight of youth workforce training and staff development initiatives. This position works collaboratively and strategically with the other members of the leadership team to ensure operational objectives and organizational goals are met. This position models the behaviors associated with the Leadership Team Competencies.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Primary Duties: Coordinate and document training for youth apprentices and staff members; develop personnel guidelines, procedures and policy related materials for youth crew members and staff; and oversee scheduling and programmatic logistics for workforce and job training programs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, criminal justice, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a social service or non-profit setting.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to multi-task and adapt to ever-changing demands, priorities, and deadlines.
• Work effectively as part of a team, but also function autonomously.
• Excellent writing and public speaking skills.
