Work Crew Leader

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Work Crew Leader to work 32 hours/week assisting with planning, implementation and oversight of work crew activities for adjudicated youth in a Civic Justice Program. Will assist youth in developing skills resulting in: employment; post-secondary education; registered apprenticeships; or vocational certification. Will network with community collaborators to enhance life skills education, activities, services and referrals.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Will organize, facilitate and provide oversight of daily work crew projects to: ensure adherence to rules and regulations; monitor safety; and provide training and hands on tasks to introduce and develop key job skills and increased understanding of core program values.
This position requires physical strength and endurance, experience working with young people, and outdoor leadership qualities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor Degree in the human service field and relevant experience; or GED/High School
Diploma and two years relevant experience. Must undergo fingerprinting, criminal records/background check and monthly driving recordchecks. Must be at least 25 years of age to be insurable under agency auto policy with clean driving record for transport of clients. Current CPR and First Aid certificates(will train, driver's license and current auto insurance required.
