Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking a talented and dynamic web developer to help us craft our look and tell our story across our web and digital platforms. This position plays a key role on our web team in bridging the gap between graphic design and technical implementation. Using modern web skills (HTML5, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript), this forward-thinking individual will work on visually impactful designs that promote the medical imaging profession.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Creates designs, wireframes, mockups, prototypes and applications on defined timelines, following agreed-upon schedules and project plans.
• Ensures applications are consistent with standards and style guidelines while ensuring the user experience is performant and consistent across multiple browsers and platforms.
• General website maintenance and enhancements with the possibility of creating digital content and designs for email marketing and social media.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree specializing in graphic design, fine arts or computer science.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a professional environment.
• Solid knowledge of web architecture, design principles and communication strategies as well as digital production processes.
• Intermediate proficiency in modern web techniques and technologies (HTML5/HTML, CSS3/4, JavaScript and jQuery), Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite in a Macintosh and Windows based environments using the latest operating systems.
