Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking a talented web designer/developer with a sharp eye for detail, a creative mind and technical finesse. This individual will create user-interface designs and front-end web development (HTML5+, CSS3+, JavaScript and jQuery) that promote the medical imaging profession.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Creates concepts, wireframes, mockups, prototypes and applications on defined timelines, following agreed-upon schedules and project plans.
• Ensures design and development are consistent with standards and style guidelines while ensuring the user experience is optimized across popular browsers.
• Website maintenance and enhancements which may include email marketing, social media and more.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Intermediate proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite, HTML5+, CSS3+, JavaScript, jQuery, CMS and Microsoft Office applications in a Macintosh and Windows based environment using the latest operating systems.
• Online portfolio that showcases your best work.
• Experience and understanding designing and developing within a UI framework.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree specializing in media arts, graphic design, fine arts or computer science with 3+ years’ in a professional environment.
