Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Creating, modifying, debugging, and maintaining code for various websites and applications.
• Evaluating existing application architecture and proposing enhancements.
• Writing technical documentation for various web projects.
• Assisting with search engine optimization (SEO) for various websites.
• Assisting with registering new domain names.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• B.A. in Computer Science, related major or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years experience developing applications in PHP and MySQL (LAMP Stack)
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS 3

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Experience with Object Oriented Programming, Linux, JSON API Development (including third party API integration)
• Experience with Git or Mercurial
• Clear understanding of MVC design principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Problem solving skills with an ability to research, analyze, and find solutions
• Exceptional attention to detail
