Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for preparing inventory for distribution; receiving and handling food and non-perishable inventory in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures; assembling customer orders from pick slips; place orders on pallets or shelves; and convey orders to staging or shipping areas.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Coordinator receives, counts, sorts, prepares, and places products on racks, shelves or bins; sorts and stores perishable goods in the proper refrigerated and freezer spaces; reads and understands production schedules, orders, work orders, shipping, or requisitions; completes forms, reports, and logs, including generation of weekly offerings lists and monthly donor receipts; and maintains positive customer relationships with donors, partner agencies, and volunteers.
