Warehouse Assistant

Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position receives, counts, sorts, and places food in the warehouse according to size, type, style, color, or product code; assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves; sorts and stores perishable goods in the proper refrigerated and freezer spaces; completes forms, reports, and logs as required; maintains and safely operates all trucks and warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks; and operates scales to weigh inventory items.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position handles food according to safe food handling practices.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The successful candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds and load/unload items into/out of truck; operate forklift and pallet jack; add, subtract, multiply & divide with basic understanding of weights & measures; read and comprehend packing slips and orders; and operate computers, Word, and Excel. This role also requires a high school diploma or GED or one to three years related experience; a negative drug screening; a clean driving record and NM driver’s license.
