We are continuously recruiting:
Hotline Crisis Advocate
Provide support, crisis intervention, information, referrals, and advocacy to survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones. Hotline Crisis Advocates are available by phone during 6-hour scheduled shifts and respond immediately to all incoming crisis calls.
Calls can be taken from anywhere!

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Possess the desire and the ability to work with individuals and groups of varying backgrounds
• Access to a phone
• Successful completion of 40-hour training and criminal background check
• Minimum 6-month commitment to the program

Other Information/Requirements: 

As a Hotline Crisis Advocate, you need to focus your attention on others and their crisis and must have a firm grasp on your own emotions. Despite the challenges, it is a truly rewarding opportunity. RCCCNM could not offer immediate hotline crisis intervention, support, and advocacy 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, without dedicated Volunteer Advocates.
