Volunteer Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Consider joining a passionate team dedicated to improving outcomes of foster children. Our Volunteer Coordinator coordinates training, administrative and emotional support of CASA Volunteer Advocates who represent the best interest of foster children and guide their case through the complex foster care system.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

•The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for supervision of court activities and logistical management, including reviewing court reports, managing program data system, and in-service trainings.
•The Volunteer Coordinator maintains relationships with key community partners and and participation in community outreach.
•The Coordinator helps ensure program quality, including that National and State standards and statutes are met.

Other Information/Requirements: 

BA/BS degree
Experience in the child welfare system, child development and volunteer management preferred
Strong administrative and computer skills required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills required
Commitment to CASA's mission and standards and ability to motivate others about the work of CASA.
Biliterate preferred
