Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This is a part time position assisting with specific aspects of volunteer organization, management, and growth for our 550+ pool of active volunteers and foster families. Responsibilities include recruiting, orienting and assigning positions to new volunteers; coordinating the volunteer outreach team to ensure successful engagement with the community at events Animal Humane is invited to; and providing information and guidance to active volunteers.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Ideal candidates will possess an Associate degree or equivalent work experience and be outgoing and enthusiastic. Applicants must be comfortable interacting and sharing information with the public and be confident acting as a volunteer supervisor. Applicants must possess basic computer skills and must be able to work Wednesday through Saturday as well as occasional evening hours.
