Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Knowledge of methods and skills in the use of carpentry equipment, materials, and tools, and common hazards and necessary safety precautions required; proven ability to present and provide instruction in areas related to remodeling and new construction; and ability to relate to, lead, and instruct populations of young adults ages 16 – 24.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Passion for working with young people of diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds to reorient their lives, develop leadership skills, and make a difference in their community. OSHA certified with first aid and CPR training required within 30 days of hire.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management; minimum of three years professional journey-level construction experience working with all elements of housing construction required; and skilled at reading and interpreting instructions, diagrams, sketches, and blueprints. Salary: $45,760 ($22.00 per hour)
