Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Roadrunner Food Bank is seeking two AmeriCorps Vista SNAP Outreach Members to assist us in fulfilling our mission of Ending Hunger in New Mexico. We have a position open in Albuquerque and one in Las Cruces. This position is for a one year term and pays a stipend of: $946/month before taxes, with some additional benefits upon completing the program. Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The person in this position will train and manage volunteers in SNAP Outreach and will provide training to food distribution sites throughout the state. This position is in partnership with the Anti-Hunger and Opportunity Corps (AHOC) which is a nationwide AmeriCorps VISTA program and pays a stipend of $946 per month.

Other Information/Requirements: 

To be accepted into the VISTA Program you either need ample volunteer experience with a hunger organization, or a college degree. Ideal candidates also have a passion for ending hunger in our state.
