Main Areas of Responsibility:
Vision for Dignity, Access, and Accountability in Healthcare (VIDA) is a project of JAZZ for Health. VIDA works to identify and directly address barriers to health in Bernalillo County. We work with community groups, policy leaders, and advocates to reduce systemic barriers to affordable healthcare. The VIDA Project Coordinator oversees all VIDA projects, initiatives, and staff, and is responsible for development of individual projects, and of the program as a whole.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Ongoing communication and collaboration with community partners
Staff, volunteer, and social work intern recruitment, supervision and mentorship
Managing program budgets
Projects development and funding, including grant writing
Ensuring documentation and follow-up of barriers
Leading/facilitating VIDA staff meetings; providing timely follow-up to issues raised
Research
Maintaining active database of all VIDA intellectual property
