Main Areas of Responsibility:
1. Legal advocacy regarding victim’s rights, court accompaniment, and attendance at court hearings.
2. Provides direct services to victims of family violence.
3. Case management including analyzing files, follow-up contact with clients, and monitoring client safety.
4. On-call support to provide assistance to law enforcement with domestic violence calls.
5. Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling, referral for other appropriate services.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
1. Provide assistance on domestic violence restraining orders and stalking/harassment intervention.
2. Return phone calls and conduct regular welfare checks on clients.
3. Information and referrals for personal safety and security issues.
4. Assistance in establishing financial losses for restitution purposes.
5. Information about referral to Crime Victim’s Reparation Commission.
6. Participate in ongoing training and growth opportunities.
7. Perform other related and assigned job duties.
