Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Menaul School, an independent, coeducational school for students in grades 6 – 12 with a mission to develop the minds, bodies, and spirits of its students, is seeking an energetic, creative, and technologically savvy Upper School Math Teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. Courses to be taught will depend upon availability and scheduling but most likely include some combination of Geometry, Algebra 2 and Statistics.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Preferred characteristics include:
• Specific facility and experience with the iPad
• A master’s degree in Mathematics or Education
• Experience teaching in an independent school
• Five years teaching experience

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements for the position include:
• A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics
• Two years teaching experience at the secondary level
• Experience with and a facility in digital technology
• A dedication to cultivating the minds of adolescents
• The willingness and ability to work successfully with a wide range of students
• The willingness and ability to work with other school staff as a team
