Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Assist the Pooled Trust Program Director with the collective management and distribution of the Trust Estate on behalf of eligible beneficiaries who are disabled. Assist in the administration of the Master Trust(s) held by The Arc of New Mexico on behalf of clients/beneficiaries, including Discretionary Authority, conforming to all regulations, policies and compliance functions required by law.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Manage pooled trust fund distributions and maintain trusts files.
• Assist with cash management process including paying bills, disbursements and deposits into accounts.
• Prepare accounts statements, reports and other records and reviews for accuracy.
• Respond to the beneficiary’s inquiries, including personal needs for goods/services not covered by SSI or Medicaid.
• Other duties as assigned.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Associate degree is preferred, with minimum of 2+ years of accounting/financial, customer service and/or trust operations experience; or 5+ years of related education and experience combined.
Must pass a federal background check.
$16.82-$19.23/hr, DOE plus $1k/yr if bilingual (Spanish/English)
