Main Areas of Responsibility: 

La Familia-Namaste offers children experienced, professional oversight in a therapeutic living environment. A family-based treatment program that trains, reimburses and supervises foster family homes for children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional problems; La Familia-Namaste works with children ranging in age from 2—18 years old, who have a history of abuse and/or neglect, providing them a safe family home, and advocating for their future.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Will be required to take children in care to all necessary appointments.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Background check will be conducted.

La Familia recruits highly skilled people who demonstrate sufficient time, energy, commitment and parenting skills for working with challenging children. Treatment parents come from all walks of life and are diverse but share the common goal of improving the lives of children and adolescents. Before being licensed, applicants complete an application, interview process, background check and an extensive 45 hour training program.
