Treatment Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Treatment Coordinator performs primarily a clinical role in the following areas: leadership of the treatment team; development and responsibility for implementation of the treatment plan; supervision of treatment foster parents; development of ongoing relationship with the treatment child; and responsibility for requisite documentation.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Caseload of 6-8 children (Caseload will be determined dependent on hours worked weekly)
• Responsible for the compliance with Medicaid Standards and Child Placement Agency Standards
• Works with families, children, team members and other involved parties to develop the treatment plan
• Coordinates all document collection and distribution and chart management
• Will be scheduled for rotating on-call availability to treatment parents, children and their families

Other Information/Requirements: 

Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related Human Service Field.
Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related Human Service Field.
Experience
• Two (2) years of direct experience with SED children and their families.
• Prefer previous experience working with children and/or adolescents with behavioral or emotional difficulties as well as working with their families or guardians.
• Six (6) months experience with mental health client population.
