Main Areas of Responsibility: 

New Day believes the developmental transition from youth to adulthood is a critical time when many young people struggle to connect with the supports they need and want. The Transitional Support Services Director is responsible for identifying/developing housing services and other supports for young people who are between 17-21.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director is responsible for providing leadership for the overall program model, staff and agency vision in ways to best support transition aged young people. The Director is a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for acting as an ambassador for the agency within the community.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Plan team meetings and retreats for staff, to support the on-going development of the teams and programs.
• Oversee and manage the hiring process and make all hiring decisions.
• Develop professional development and wellness plans for employees in order to support further development and reduce burnout.

How to Apply: 

Number of People Supervised: Direct:5 Indirect:2. Salary: $47,000-$55,000. Masters (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in social services, education or other related field. Supervisory experience 3-5 years preferred 4-8 years of experience working with youth that have experienced homelessness, trauma, and/or system involvement. Experience working in residential or housing program preferred.
