Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Support, engage, empower and assist youth in meeting goals
Provide services in a culturally competent, youth-friendly manner
Develop and support youth leadership opportunities
Provide one-on-one individualized life skills development to youth as needed
Coordinate, monitor and participate in activities
Provide crisis intervention, as necessary

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Secure start-up materials for new apartments
Assist youth and TLP Coordinators with move-in process
Clean apartments of residents who have moved out of the program
Clean Life Skills Academy building
Develop a weekly newsletter
Maintain LSA website, updating class and activity information
Coordinate LSA registration and transportation

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must be 23 years or older
Minimum of High School or GED with 2 years experience working with youth
Knowledge of community resources, experience with providing referral services clients
Must relate well in cross-cultural environments
Must focus on details, but have an ability to adapt with shifting priorities

How to Apply:
