Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide services such as psycho-social, risk and trauma assessments, individual, group, couples and family therapy, and psycho-education on developmentally relevant adolescent/young adult issues. They also provide support and consultation to milieu staff and Safe Home and Transitional Living Leadership Teams.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Low billable demands, to spur team oriented work and to encourage creativity
• Psycho-social assessments
• Provide individual, couples, family and crisis response therapy as needed or required
• Create individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Refer youth and families for additional services when needed

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Utilize a strengths-based framework along with diverse modalities to meet the needs of youth
• Understand and exemplify the core principles/approaches of the Safe Home: Positive Youth Development, the Nurtured Heart Approach and Trauma Informed Practices
• Must be flexible/adaptable and make changes as needed to best meet team and youth needs

Professional Requirements
• State Licensed as LISW/LCSW, LPCC LMFT preferred, LMHC considered
• 2-4 years working with adolescents, specifically with youth that have experienced homelessness, trauma, and/or system involvement, preferred
• Experience working with diverse teams
