Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Program Director is responsible for ensuring the overall effectiveness of the Maya’s Place residential program including but not limited to; effective administration of psychosocial evaluations/assessments, diagnostic, individual and group counseling and crisis intervention in a high-intensity clinical environment.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position requires a high degree of independent decision-making. The Program Directo ensures that program development and administration of programs and services are meeting the needs of program participants. Also responsible for planning, coordination and facilitation of clinical and Psycho-Social Rehabilitation services. Leads and trains Maya’s Place staff, students and/or interns engaged in related therapeutic/client care activities, as appropriate.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master’s Degree, discipline-specific Licensure or eligible for licensure in New Mexico; 3 years supervisory experience, with 2 years direct services in a therapeutic substance abuse or mental health setting and/or two years experience in a residential setting; strong crisis intervention skills; mediation skills; multi-cultural training. Satisfactory clearance of Criminal Records Check.
