Therapist- Transitional Living Program

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provides therapeutic services and supports to young people who are going through key transitions in their lives (housing, relationship, education, developmental, etc.). Supporting young people in developing emotional skills and tools to support them during and after transition periods, and provide consultation to staff in the transitional living program..

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Psycho-social assessments
• Individual, couples, family and crisis response therapy as needed or required
• On-going therapeutic or psycho-educational groups
• Complete risk and trauma screens
• Consultation and support for the Transitional Living Program team
• Utilize and strengths-based framework along with diverse modalities to best meet the needs of youth

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Understand and exemplify the core principles/approaches used within the TLP: Positive Youth Development, the Nurtured Heart Approach and Trauma Informed Practices
• Must be flexible and make changes as needed to best meet team and youth needs

How to Apply: 

Professional Requirements
• State Licensed as LISW/LCSW, LPCC LMFT
• 2-4 years working with adolescents, specifically with youth that have experienced homelessness, trauma, and/or system involvement, preferred
