Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for using discretion and independent judgment in providing individual and group counseling, therapy and crisis intervention, advocacy, and supportive services to shelter residents, including age-appropriate children, following the curriculum and specifications of the agency.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field.
New Mexico licensure (LMHC, LPC, LPCC, LISW, LMFT, or LMSW) as required by state licensing boards.
All supervision requirements of licensure have been completed.
At least three years of experience in group and individual counseling with adults, children, and families, including skills and experience with several different practice modalities.
At least one year of direct experience with survivors and survivors of domestic violence.
