Faith Comes By Hearing has a full-time position available for a Text Processor. This role requires adaptability and problem solving to help the Script Assembly team complete CORE Scripts efficiently and with excellence, as well as preparing texts for use on the Digital Bible Platform (DBP) and in other formats.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Database Language Research, Online Research, Prepare CORE Scripts as electronic texts from Web-PDFs, scanned printed texts, or an internal server with the proper formatting and marking necessary for Paratext, Proficient with Glyssen and Nitro, Create a Digital Bible Library bundle of the texts from Paratext to be used in Glyssen for scripting,Troubleshoot any issues in the script assembly process, Assemble Scripts

Other Information/Requirements: 

Working knowledge of an electronic file management system, Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal, High attention to detail and established protocols, Basic understanding of Windows, MS Excel, and MS Word, Ability to use proper judgment and problem solving skills, Ability to read and hear phonetically and follow texts in other languages, A heart for the mission and a team player
