Main Areas of Responsibility:
Clean common areas of the shelter each day: bathrooms, dining area, family room, library, floors and trash receptacles.
Deep clean beds and guest rooms prior to new guest arrivals.
Maintain schedule of regular deep cleaning activities.
Clean Admin restroom twice a week.
Mop/vacuum floors in Admin areas as needed.
Report maintenance issues.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for the Barrett House Shelter.
Have a compassionate understanding and acceptance of homeless persons.
Promote and encourage safety and clear communication.
Be aware of emergency evacuation and notification procedures.
