Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Paws and Stripes is a nonprofit organization providing animal assisted therapy to military veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder, military sexual trauma, and traumatic brain injury. It is our vision for every military veteran and their dog to live without isolation.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

We have an opening for a Team Trainer to join in this rewarding work. Team Trainers utilize dog training skills and case management to assist veterans in training dogs to be their own service dog or canine companion.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Ideal candidates will have some dog training background and the ability to work in a fast paced environment as a member of a team. Ability to conform to Paws and Stripes training techniques is necessary as is a willingness to bring creativity and an innovative, positive attitude to the approach of working with an underserved demographic.
