Main Areas of Responsibility:
Under general direction, plans, develops, and oversees the statewide tax assistance program to volunteers with practical work experience in tax preparation. Addresses community needs through income tax preparation services, and education on tax issues such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). This is a grant funded position from November 1, 2011 - June 30, 2012, or until funding for the grant is discontinued, whichever comes first. Any extension is contingent upon continued funding.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Direct supervision of an 8 hour/wk Program Administrator and other volunteers. Responsibilities include recruiting Site Coordinators for Tax Help sites around the state; planning and assigning work; assessing performance; performance management and addressing concerns and resolving problems.
Req: BA degree in related field of study; and 4 yrs admin exp. or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference given to candidates with work exp. in a culturally diverse environment.
